Laronib 25 mg (Larotrectinib) Capsules

Laronib 25 (Larotrectinib 25 mg) is a targeted anticancer medicine used for the treatment of solid tumors that have an NTRK gene fusion. It works by inhibiting TRK proteins produced from abnormal NTRK gene fusions, which can contribute to tumor cell growth and survival.

• Treatment of NTRK gene fusion-positive solid tumors
• May be used in eligible adult and pediatric patients

Composition:

Recommended Adult and Pediatric Dosage:
The recommended dosage of larotrectinib is 100 mg orally twice daily, taken approximately 12 hours apart. Treatment is generally continued until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity, according to the prescribing physician's assessment.

How to Take:

• Take the capsule orally with or without food.
• Swallow the capsule whole with water.
• Take doses at approximately the same times each day.
• Do not crush, chew, or open the capsule unless specifically instructed by a healthcare professional.
• Follow the prescribed treatment schedule exactly.

Missed Dose:
If a dose is missed and the next scheduled dose is more than 4 hours away, take the missed dose when remembered. If the next dose is due within 4 hours, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
